LG V30 “This is Real”
In a world filled with filters and highly-curated social feeds, the “This Is Real” campaign challenged consumers to use that same technology for true self-expression. The campaign’s hero spot featured a diversity of people making their own promise to be real—to “not fake happiness for a like”—rallying against the manufactured reality we see around us every day.
The US version of the spot included an latina activist, who was featured delivering her promise in spanish.
Accompanying the spot, we created a series of docu-style videos that dived deeper into each inspiring individual’s real story, while showcasing the unique features o the LG V30 smartphone. For a brand trying to compete against giants like Apple and Samsung, the campaign was the bold approach that LG needed to take to make an impact in a highly competitive marketplace.
